This is an illustration for celebrating Mother's Day. It expresses the relationship between a mother and a child, and the child's gratitude for the mother. The warmth surrounded by flowers is the beautiful feeling that love brings to people.

What impressed me the most after the glass museum was a set of hand-blown glass called "In Between" from the Netherlands. They contain tableware in different forms, ranging from transparent to full white in a six-step gradient.

The way they are directly and uniformly placed on the tabletop of a scene gave me different fantasies and imaginations -- the uneven but orderly arrangement of glass tableware is like a building complex in a microscopic world. If the audience shrinks and the exhibit becomes a giant art exhibit or building, what perspective would it be?

Perhaps the biggest obstacle we encounter is not from life itself, but from our mind. They appear irregular and uninterrupted. Hold the experience we have, then the value and meaning hidden in it may help you overcome your inner fears. Those obstacles actually help us to be better, so they are gentle.

This is a cover illustration for a lovely bakery studio whose theme is connoted to bedtime stories. The strawberry cream cake in the middle is the main object-like a big parterre. The cupcakes form different decorative plants in the garden, and the little guys are taking care of this "baking garden".

Some places seem to be far away, not only physically, but also because they carry dreams and more important meanings. The girl in this illustration becomes a microcosm of my fourth year of leaving my hometown. The place she looks at is far away from her, full of emotions and responsibilities. That place is gleaming and it is home.

This is a personal illustration inspired by a song about there is an only place in our mind which doesn’t been destroyed. Everyone has a place in her/his mind, which can be understood as a secret base that is not easily discovered whatever how's the outside world looks like. Many inner monologues, entanglements, grievances, excitement, happiness, or some important things are decided in this place. The green place of this forest is the figuration of this place in the heart.

An editorial illustration for Westchester Magazine last year.

This is an imagination and conceptual story between my grandma and me. My grandma passed away for more than one year. I miss her very much so I want to create this illustration book to commemorate her. In the story, the balloon is mean the future and something good to me. In my opinion, learning how to understand death is not just a lesson for kids but also for adults. I hope I can have a deeper understanding of life through this creative process and tell it to other people.
